july 7th: crossing the state line. we made it in a record 8.5 hours. sorry for the uninspiring photo. i cannot force myself to stop for photos when in the travel zone. this was taken through the windshield.
july 8th: my sweet buddy. papa took them blackberry picking out in the yard. g was so impressed that you could find food to eat out in nature.
july 9th: g declared himself "the froghunter". i know most of you think i'm crazy, but i find toadies just so stinking cute.
july 10th: we finally made it to the beach. love that north florida sand.
july 11th: did a little work for my brother while i was there. counting scallop shells. i think i wore the fingerprint off my right index finger.
july 12th: who says they grow them bigger and better in texas. this was the magnolia blossom my neice used as her bouquet at the rehearsal. (and you should see the size of our palmetto bugs).
july 13th: gma finally got around to cooking her world famous biscuits after g told her "don't want no poptart. don't want no bacon. i just want a butter biscuit!"
july 14th: we went out for seafood in appalach. loved this two story mural. and loved the grouper and cheese grits.
july 15th: spent a lot of time up at my sister's beach house. what a view.
july 16th: my brother cast netting. catching mullet to bait the bluecrab traps.
july 17th: g and his cousins practicing their boating skills out in the yard.
july 18th: we had 79 bluecrabs waiting when we checked the traps. happy happy day.
july 19th: the return trip was also made in record time. 11.5 hours. oy. and again i couldn't make myself stop and since the windshield was too bugged up i had to do a drive by of the tennessee rest stop so i could roll down the passenger side window to get a picture.
