sorry for the delay on gallery updates. what can i say? there was too much florida seafood calling my name on the 10th and then there were new scrappy goodies awaiting me when i got home. oopsies. here is my contribution. hoping to get the other one i have in progress finished today too. i think this shall be a week of scrappy shares. i hosted a one woman scrapping marathon this weekend and finished 3 layouts and 5 cards for cha in a 24 hour period. it was a pain in the neck (literally my neck hurt all day sunday), but so much fun! i'm telling you, this new jbs stuff is good!
i did this one in florida and ended up not sewing on it (a rarity for me), so to give it that attached look that i love, i added a few embroidery stitches here and there. (you can also achieve that "attached" look with staples or washi tape).
that little metal stick that the banner is hanging from is an antique opera collar support that i got from vintage finds shelf at jbs mercantile's general store. i was thinking about getting another pack, because i've decided they're kinda cool. Sadly they are gone, and you know how vintage is . . . once it's gone, it's gone.
