I've recovered from the big cub scout campout and have finally gotten the chance to go through last week's pretty paper party favors. i've read the first five and each one is such a treat. i adore shimelle; i really do. so each shimelle email is like a warm fuzzy in my inbox. she's the perfect hostess. the other sweet part is that all my favorite scrappers are there too, plus some new friends! i'm loving it and anxious to join in the festivities. you can join in too! here's the invitation. let me assure you that it's perfectly okay to be fashionably late. shimelle says i can bring a guest to the party with me. if you'd like to come, please leave a comment here and i'll choose one of you tomorrow afternoon when i get home from school and put on my party clothes (around 5pm cst). here's a little peek at the party decoration i contributed to the fun. the theme is pretty paper if you hadn't guessed that already. :)
There are online classes for everything these days, and Shimelle has been teaching online scrapbooking classes for years - but she's decided it's time to kick it up a bit and go from online class to a four-week online party, and you're invited. Pretty Paper Party is the party to attend if you have a collection of paper stacked up for a rainy day, if you have more scraps of paper than you know what to do with (but you know you don't want to throw them away!) and if you've ever put a piece of paper back in your stash because it was just too special for the photos at hand.
