happy thanksgiving!

we had a great time in lancaster, pennsylvania visiting g's tia and primos (aunt and cousins).  gorgeous countryside, although g seems less than impressed in this photo i caught of him . . . he had a bit of a nap hangover.  :D

he did, however, have a great time playing superman with his cousin johnny and intoducing all his dinosaurs to his cousin daphne. *

and i even managed to get a layout done while on vacation . . . a rarity . . . and this is one that's plagued me for months . . . so glad it finally came together.  (and can you believe there's no pp there?  none!  hee.  those pics were taken at my mom's house . . . believe me it's busy enough already!).  :D

success . . . !!!

i did it!  finished lo #5 last night!  i now have a lo a day for my twopeas gallery!  fun stuff!  here's a sneak preview for you all . . . :D

and i finished them just in time . . . taking jenni bowlin's class tonight (yay!), paperdillies came yesterday and needs to be finished asap, and have to get my second november class sample done and prep for the class since it's the tuesday after thanksgiving and we won't get back in town till monday night.  whew!

goals . . .

my friend holly told me that she's set a goal of having one week in 2006 in which she posts a new layout in her twopeas gallery every day.  hmmm.  guess that's been one of my unconscious goals in 2005.  no real reason for it.  just something fun to shoot for.  and i haven't quite made it yet.  last week was a good week.  i posted every day except friday.  that layout just didn't come together in time.  maybe this week.  i've already got 2 new layouts in my arsenal.  and it's early on saturday.  go doris go!  :D

dinosaur dayz . . .

ok . . . so g is in the midst of a dinosaur obsession . . .

he had dinosaurs eating his birthday cake (notice how neat and tidy he is, making sure the his buddy wipes his mouth between bites) . . .

of course, there were dinosaurs involved in halloween as well . . . they appeared at his school party and after trick or treating (thanks Kelly's!).

you know . . . there'll probaby be dinosaurs in all my thanksgiving and christmas pictures too . . . unless he moves on to a new obsession.  sharks, snakes, and bugs are his other main interests.  that's my boy . . . :D
