happy day . . .

got to go to the crop last night after all . . . finally finished the layout that's been haunting me all week . . . think it turned out better than i thought it was going to . . . :D

did a little much needed cleaning this morning . . . more to do though . . . maybe the cleaning bug will bite again tomorrow . . . doubtful considering all the new pp that i've gotten my hands on in the last two days . . . sei, anna griffith, and scrapworks all came in at scrap it! yesterday . . . my american crafts contraband order arrived today . . . surely i'll find some inspiration in all that . . . guess i should work on getting it all put away first . . . :D

took g to the library . . . made a $20 donation there . . . didn't realize that dvd's were due before books . . . oops! . . . then we went to the park a while . . . next door to the library . . . unavoidable . . . had to go to evil walmart on a saturday . . . i know . . .  call me crazy . . . went to the lss while we were over that way . . . next door to walmart . . . unavoidable .  . . :D

more fun ahead . . . heading to logan's steakhouse when g gets up for a late lunch/early dinner . . . mmmmmmmmmmmm . . . then over to tammy's so i can get my laptop battery recharged . . . and g can play with their great train tracks . . . :D

yep . . . happy day . . . life is good . . . :D

happy belated valentine's day . . .

ok.  so i said i was going to get back in the groove online . . . and i really meant it . . . just having technical difficulties . . . the power cord for my laptop has burnt out . . . waiting for a new one . . . got a loaner from tammy today,  so thought i better catch up on my blog while i have the chance . . .

so these were gabriel's valentine cards . . . his first handmade project . . . we had so much fun making them together . . . well, the first 3 or 4 were fun . . .

not much else going on really . . . just been depressed about the power cord . . . got a couple more layouts done . . . that's 7 finished so far this month . . . only got 10 done last month . . . i'd like to be in the 12-15/month range . . . better get busy . . .

ok.  so i really seem to have nothing to say at the moment, so i'll publish this and go watch underdog w g for the 257th time . . . anybody know where i can get some more episodes???  :D

. . . another snow day!!!  don't know what all the superintendents in the state of tennessee were thinking . . . i'm sure there have been lots of phones ringing with irate parents on the line . . . you won't catch me complaining though . . . oh NO!  i'm a teacher . . . we went to the ymca with carrie and blake . . . and then to panera . . . guess that would be an oops . . . a yummy one though . . . then we went krogering . . . got home and g let me vacuum, unpack from the crop, put away all the laundry, and reorganize his closet while he watched elmo and underdog . . . he's napping now . . . and i just finished the layout i started yesterday . . . so . . . here are two more cherryarte layouts for your viewing pleasure . . . fun stuff . . . hmmmmmmmmm . . . what's next??? . . . :D

it's not damaged or anything . . . it's still there . . . it's just working oh so slowly . . . kinda like a clogged bottle of gloo . . . went to the crop last night . . . 6 hours . . . and this layout still wasn't finished when i left at midnight . . . painful . . . :P

me and g just showered and put on fresh jammies.  jammies all day.  now that's good stuff.  why can't every day be a saturday?  :D

stef said i had a big pile of ribbon . . . here's the evidence . . . she and lisa sounded like they had a fine time cutting it all . . . can't wait to get my greedy little hands on it . . . :D

my hof entry was received at 9:55am on tuesday.  HUGE sigh of relief there.  and many many thanks to melissa who helped me print it all and santa billy who got her that fabulous printer . . . :D

had a super good time showing amber all the "authentic" mexican restaurants in nashville . . . wasn't overly impressed with the new one we tried out . . . although the sopapilla at the end was pretty darn good . . . gonna take her to my tried and true favorite next week . . . "las chivas" . . . . "the goats" . . . can't beat that . . . :D

so glad that ann and tracie are back from cha with many wonderful goodies on the way . . . :D

it's a bird! it's a plane! . . .

it's underdog!!!  :D

my absolute favorite hero at age three.  and what made him even better was that when his half hour was over each day i knew my brother would be home from kindergarten.  my real hero.  :D

we found two underdog videos at big lots last week.  underdog vs overcat and underdog:  the mad scientist chronicles.  so glad g loves watching them.  i'd hate to have to watch them by myself.  :D

and speaking of underdogs . . . i got my hof entry in the mail today.  i'm VERY happy with it.  hope the little guy gets noticed . . . :D

and SO glad to be done with it.  whew!  it was CONSUMING.  gotta get my house under control now, get caught up on all my blogging and peapraising, and just hanging out with friends.  i'm back!  :D
