spring break: day four . . .

jonathon came over to play with g while i scrapped today . . . i made an ugly layout that will not be seen in public and i'm sure  i'll be tearing apart later . . . i vacuumed the floor twice but you really can't tell . . . day four of our spring break is almost at an end and i haven't organized a single thing . . . hof calls didn't start today . . . i was feeling quite annoyed and stressed . .

then i read gabby's blog and her honesty made me look at my day with new eyes . . .

i spent the whole day with this sweet child . . . we laughed together and napped together . . . he got lots of  extra hugs and "i love you's"  . . .

i spent time with many friends  . . . chatting online . . . on the phone . . . at my lss . . . encouraging and supporting each other . . .

so i must say . . . even though things i wanted to happen didn't . . . my life is still oh so good . . .

and to one very special friend . . . happiest of birthdays . . . i wish for you a wonderful marriage, healthy children, and SUCCESS . . . i am honored to call you my friend . . . and so thankful YOU are a part of my life . . . :D

I should so be getting ready for my first dg (domestic goddess) scrapfest, but alas, I must blog. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight in anticipation of croplifting all of g's layouts. That, in itself, is reason to be thankful to have a boy. Oh, and the other reason: my daughter is a diva and two of her would kill me! I'll call in the am..
