i'm a popARTist!!!

i got THE call from heather burch monday . . . i made the poppy ink design team!!!  to say i'm thrilled is an understatement.  :D

so . . . i finally got around to getting my hair cut today . . . and got my make up done while i was at it . . . then went to sherri's and now wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!  look at me . . . i have a headshot!  now i just have to come up with a cool bio to go with it . . . :D

i guess i've been too excited to scrap much this week . . . haven't made a layout since saturday . . . oops!  i'll post it below . . . it's a cute one from my august poppy ink kit . . . hope to get cracking this weekend because the fun stuff has been piling up on me . . . just got some cosmo cricket at scrap it! this evening . . . and when i got home my poppy ink buttons were waiting on me . . . monday i got some way awesome maya road chipboard at scrap it!  and basic grey last weekend . . . i need to get busy!!!  :D

i am bored.  really shouldn't be blogging.  because i'll probably bore you too.  blah.  :P

managed to get a couple layouts done earlier in the week . . . and then fizzled . . . bleh.  :P

what have i been doing . . . besides being bored???  let's see . . . i presented at a faculty meeting monday.  then did 3 miles on the treadmill.  went to mcd's with renee for 99 cent hamburgers tuesday.  did 3 miles on the treadmill wednesday.  translated at two open houses tonight.  ummm.  worked a lot.  slept a lot.  ate a lot.  spent a lot of time w g.  lalala . . . tomorrow looks like more of the same . . . maybe i'll do 3 more miles on the treadmill.  that would be nothing short of miraculous.  maybe me and g'll go rent a couple movies.  that might be fun.  i get to go the crop saturday.  yay.  (definitely no sarcasm there!  :D ).   :D

time for bed.  hopefully tomorrow i will wake up with more oomph.  night all!  :D

oh dear . . .

has it really been almost two weeks since my last post?  again?  sorry!  :P

let's see . . . monday i have a faculty mtg after school.  tuesday i have an open house to go to in gladeville.  thursday i have TWO open houses to translate for . . . at TWO separate schools . . . eeps!  so it goes . . . but i think . . . i HOPE . . . things will slow down after this week . . . get back in a routine . . . and then i will become a regular blogger once more . . . :D

a few of us got together to "crop" last night . . . i had a babysitter for SIX hours and only managed to get this ONE layout done . . . well, almost done . . . had to paint the letters after i got home . . . after midnight . . . oops!  but we sure had FUN!  i did anyway.  SO good to get out of the house . . . :D
