5 in 58!

the title pretty much says it all.  for those who need a translation . . . i did FIVE miles on the treadmill in FIFTY-EIGHT minutes!!!  now there's a HUGE wooHOO!!!  i didn't just sneak in under my 60 minute goal . . . i totally blew it out of the water . . . beat last weeks time by 3 minutes . . . yeaaaaaaaa . . . i rock!!!  :D

realized that i never posted my poppy ink layouts from last month here, so i'll do that now.  i've already finished my december layouts.  i like them lots.  and they'll be up saturday, so be sure to check back then.  :D

i was tagged!  by kp!  i don't think i've ever been tagged!  or maybe it's just been a while!  makes me feel so cool!  and i think it's kinda fitting that since i was tagged the day before halloween i should respond the day after thanksgiving cause that's the kinda blogger i am, right?  :D

7 Random Facts About Me Right Now:

• i am a Coke addict.  Classic that is.  i fell for the "buy 3 (2 liters) for $3" tuesday and opened #3 this morning.  don't think i drank it ALL though . . . i did give g and his dad a glass and cool renee.
• taylor swift is my new musical addiction.  i could do some serious karaoke to thic chic.  all her songs are written in the key of doris.
• do you know the muffin man?  i do, and he's quite delightful.
• chickfila ice cream cones.  mmmmmmmmmmmm.
• i do weird mental gymnastics every time i see the time on a digital clock.
• even when i'm not into the blogging scene, jamie water's blog is a must visit.  her photography is beautiful.  and i'm constantly delighted by her layouts.  every last one of them. 
• pop culture.  pop culture.  pop culture.  love it.  got a refill of the pp at the little mall scrappy store yesterday.  and speaking of pop culture . . . i have a new ki lo to share . . . managed to get in another friday challenge.  yay!

the ki lo . . . the challenge this week was to use border stickers . . . have one there in the middle . . . also some softies that are too adorable . . . used the negative space from a tagline for my journaling block . . . and i'm so happy these challenges have gotten me using my ki soup again . . . i was feeling a little guilty that i have 8 cans of the stuff . . . so guilty, in fact, that i didn't let myself buy any of the mini-soup . . . and now look!  i'm using it like crazy and i WANT the mini-soup!  :D

meanderings . . .

so.  i'm sure it's been quite a while dear blog readers.  so i don't even know where to begin.  or where to end.  hmmm . . . so here are just a few random odds and ends.  in no particular order.  :D

marathon.  me.  26 miles.  ok, so it took a whole wk to log the 26 miles in on the treadmill, but it was a goal of mine and i accomplished it.  woohoo!  felt pretty good too!  carrie says we're doing the music city half marathon this spring.  i think i just might!  my current goals are to run 2 miles wo stopping and to go 5 miles in 60 mins.  i almost had that second one tonight.  i did the 5 in 61.  hard work i tell ya.  whew.  i could prob get the 2 miles in now if i made myself.  maybe later this wk.  one would think i'd be burning off the pds w all this running.  one would think.  but alas, i can drink coke faster and more consistently than i can run . . .

thanksgiving vacation started today!  another big woohoo!  5 days of waking up when we wake up.  aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh bliss.  i've got great plans for laziness these next few days . . . hook me up to the triptophan . . .

got some mag love last wk too . . . 4 more woohoos to report . . . 2 los in st, 1 in mm, and drumroll please . . . 1 in bhg . . . the made in minutes column . . . ME . . . MIM . . . bwahahaha . . . i know you're all laughing . . . esp if you've watched me scrap . . . made in mins . . . lol . . . more like hrs . . .

and more scrappy fun . . . i won the friday challenge drawing over at the ki blog this wk!!!  free ki pop culture coming my way!!!  now there's a serious woohoo!  have you guys seen this stuff???  totally FUN!!!  here's the lo i won with . . . the challenge was to mix old ki with the new pop culture line . . . perfect for me at the time since i'd only gotten a partial shipment of the new stuff . . . that's been remedied btw thanks to the gluestick . . . woohoo!  :D
