the grinch has left the building . . .

his tubby tail was seen waddling off in disgrace as i merrily hung icicle lights on the balcony while baking festively sprinkled sugar cookies and cursing my neighbor from said balcony . . . oops!  shoulda been caroling my neighbor, right?  which i would have been doing if she hadn't been letting her dog crap on the lawn right before my eyes . . . and i didn't curse . . . that was just poetic license there . . . but i did glare . . . and politely asked if there was a reason she didn't clean up her dog's poop after he deposited it on my lawn . . . to which she was seen waddling off in disgrace to retrieve a kroger bag . . . go me go . . . i am usually quite mousey when presented with an opportunity for confrontation . . . back to decking the halls . . . looks like i'll be decking my halls with ki memories this year . . . won their friday challenge again this week . . . mainly because none of you participated!  come on people!  it's free fun!  go!  play!  :D

in other major news . . . long lost daphne was finally found . . . seems she's been chilling with spongebob in the playdoh tub on top of the refrigerator . . . yea . . . i was SO not impressed . . . she's caused me many irritated moments just knowing there was an incomplete toy collection residing under my roof . . . yes . . . i do have a few neurotic tendencies . . .  i can only imagine how happy fred was to see her . . . the mystery machine is really rocking tonight . . . and i can't believe i just said that . . . what in the world is in my refilled from the tap bottle of kroger purified drinking water?  :D

jbs love . . .

the big jbs christmas packing party was this wk . . . jenni's house was delightfully decorated . . . and we did a potluck meal during which i remarked more than once "we are SUCH good cooks!" . . . seriously yummy food . . . so in honor of dear jenni, i have a couple los from last month's kit to post . . . i actually got four los out of it, but i'm holding a couple in reserve . . . if you haven't checked out this mo's kit you need to for sure . . . classic jenni . . . elegant and sparkley . . . it will surely put you in the christmas spirit . . . and how's my christmas spirit you ask?  good . . . i think . . . i mean i know i would be having the urge to put the lights up if it weren't so darn cold out . . . i've promised the gman we'll do it this wknd though . . . yea . . . looks like sunday it is . . . hope it's a slightly unseasonably warm day . . . :D

december . . . already?

brrrrrrrrrrrrrr . . . got a little chilly here . . . and all my friends have their christmas lights up . . . heck . . . cool renee got hers up the day before thanksgiving . . . guess i need to get my little box of christmas fun out this weekend . . . seems like we used to do things a little slower down in florida when i was a kid . . . ah well . . . when in rome . . . and speaking of rome . . . we were in louisville last week . . . went for an esl conference and got to stay in high style at the downtown marriott . . . the highlight of the trip was a little walk through downtown that g and i took . . . i just loved the juxtaposition of gorgeous old architecture against the newer skyscrapers . . . so cool . . . :D
