i'm back!

sorry for the long delay in posting.  we went to florida for a week for spring break.  fun times.  no great pictures to post.  for some reason, i always take horrible easter egg hunting pictures.  really.  they're even worse than christmas.  i think the st. paddy's day leprechaun must curse my photo taking abilities each spring.  i honestly don't know what he has against me.  i even made sure me and the gman were representing for him this year.  we had new matching st. paddy's day t's.  he sported "lucky and charming" and mine was "pinch proof".  hmm.  maybe he did let me get one or two decent pics.  i'll try to find a couple for you in a day or two.  yep.  cause once i get back in the blogging groove i do pretty well keeping up.  anyway, i thought you'd enjoy a new layout more.  and when i say new, i mean NEW.  i got the four pound box of scrappy happiness from the gluestick last week.  aaaaaaaaaaaaaah.  happy birthday to me, it was wonderful!  let's see what new stuffs i have on this . . . the background is new mm garden party, the flower centers are new daisy d's wonder years, the leaves new sr grafton, and down at the bottom new jenni bowlin studio rubs and cutie diecut house.  ok.  more new goodies on the table to play with.  must get back to work!  :D

thanks renee for my early birthday present.  it totally fits my mood these days.  spring break is here!  spring weather is here!  and i have some super exciting news to share . . .

ok.  here's the promised recap of my fabulous day on february 27th . . .

first off, we woke up to a snow day!  wooHOO!  i wasn't really even expecting it which made it all the better . . . g was in the mood to stay home so i was able to get a little scrappy . . . then blake got to come over to play which made g way happy . . . we took a little hike through the "woods" out back . . . g called it a great adventure . . . and did you check out the snow pics?  i was SO thrilled that he performed for my snow day camera this year!  then we went to chick-fil-a so the boys could play while i worked on tickets . . . came home to LOTS more good stuff . . . my box of new ac goodies had come (thanks glue!) . . . i had an email with my very first magazine assignment . . . AND i got an awesome fabulous new scrappy gig that i can't wait to tell you about . . . but i will wait . . . for just a few more days . . . :D
