wild horses . . .

one of my students has a farm with miniature ponies and he invited us out to see the new spring arrivals . . .

they were oh so very sweet . . .
 

we invited cute girl from kindergarten class to go with us.  really her mom and i set the whole thing up.  hee.  while her mom was off tending her little brother cute girl says to g, "my mom thinks you're cute."  i thought i was going to get punched for that as g does not like to be in the same sentence with girls, but he surprised me transforming into rico suave before my eyes and responding, "yea, everyone says that."  ha!
 

rico was not so suave on the pony.  my high school boys thought this was somewhat hilarious as cute girl was much braver for her pony ride . . .

 

cute girl was also much braver about climbing the fence to get in the pigpen.  i have to defend my baby here though.  you can see the pork chop is not afraid of the big beasts.  truly it is heights he fears and i don't blame him for that one at all.
  
 
and i really should not post this horribe photo here.  or at the very least i should decorate the offending focal point with a butterfly a la pioneer woman.  the high school boys were really laughing at my irritation with this boar ruining my photo op.  and i think i shall end here. ;)
