so i mentioned to dear staci that i was planning to blog this evening. she threw down a little smack talk as to the likelihood of that actually happening. can you believe that? what? so blogging once a month isn't sufficient? i should wipe the dust off my lens and take some photos? actually document life as we know it? this is going to require that we actually do something worth documenting. after expending all this energy i'd better be rewarded staci. i need to see photos of that blind date i set you up on. and i'd better see them in a timely manner. :)
so kicking off blog week we have the jbs june gallery updates. i managed two more layouts and a project. this first layout is me and another dear friend waaaaaaaaaay back in the day. come on . . . raise your hand if you miss pants that fit at the natural waistline, loose fitting tees, denim button-ups, raybans . . .
the paint job was done with folkarte metallic acrylic paints in white, blue, and gold. i used the tina azsmus credit card trick for the background and the cool stencil from the add-on kit for the sun. most of the other bits and pieces on this one were from the project kit.
i used that cool stencil on this one too, but this time i worked it with american crafts stamp markers to get a different look. wasn't my little angel baby so adorable? i love grabbing older pics to work with from time to time. they bring back such sweet memories. and when i'm in a lazy mood like i have been of late they totally speed things up by eliminating that boring and time consuming editing/printing phase.
annnd a quickkie home decor project. love it. there are still a very few of these printers trays in stock at jbs mercantile. be sure to check the gallery too for detail shots and to see the other girls' work. the main kit and project kit are currently sold out, but i believe jenni is going to do a very limited restock in the next day or so.
check back tomorrow night for a new post. gotta make sure dear staci eats her words . . . :)
wow. you REALLY did blog! i have officially eaten my words (for now) ;-) Gorgeous projects, as always, my friend, and I especially love love love that tray. may need to get one of those!
