i made this little mini for our trip to visit the fam in florida. the cover is from the jbs mercantile july project kit. i stitched a cutie banner across it from bits cut from the girls paperie pp in the main kit.
i love the look of hodgepodge minis, but i've always been a bit intimidated by the thought of all that randomness. i've finally developed a divide and conquer method for them that really works for me.
this mini has six sections that all follow the same sequence. 1. journaling card (or repro vintage photo card) 2. mini bingo card (leftovers from previous kits) 3. paper from the jbs notepad (july add-on) 4. pp with an embellishment 5. jbs coredination cs with bazzill strip. then just repeat!
since the first three pieces were smaller, i joined them together with bookbinding tape, so they wouldn't hang all wonky from the jump rings. i'm planning on putting pics on the back of all these. i'm going to journal on the journaling cards and let the gman journal on the notepad paper.
don't forget to sand the cardstock!
and a little blue paint on the back. i am so loving sky blue with goldenrod these days.
check the rest of my jbs mercantile july projects in the gallery along with the brilliant work from the rest of the design team. :)
ooooh, love! so many pretty bits and pieces! is that cover 7 Gypsies? i had that in an AMM kit and had a hard time using it - i love what you did with it!
