i was working on a jbs family tree layout for show yesterday and i got majorly stalled when i tried to get all painty with it. i finally decided i needed some of the new star stickers that unfortunately aren't in yet. tomorrow i hear though. in the meantime, i started on these little cuties. i love them so much! it's so nice when what i see in my head works on out paper. that's not always the case.
i free handed the pumpkins and leaves. the pumpkins i then finger painted and stitched for texture and the leaves i bent up a bit here and there for dimension. i know i have said this before, but i am just so charmed by what paint and ink do to the jbs coredinations cardstock.
jenni's new paint is just awesome, of course. lovely coverage, dries quickly, and minimal warping. for a peek at all the delicious colors head on over to the jbs inspiration blog. i threw up a dina wakley paint extravaganza today. hopefully i'll be back here tomorrow with more finished projects.
love love love these!! i think i may have to lift you for something similar come halloween time - It is our favorite holiday around here and all ;-)

Doris I am in LOVE! Not only that, but I'm cracking up because I did a stitched pumpkin (but on a layout) for Girls' Paperie for CHA. Great minds thinking alike? I think so. :)
